AFO [FIDE] Open to U.S. Active Duty, Reservists, Military Retirees, Cadets, Midshipmen, and ROTC.
Military Veterans’ Open (MVO) for military Veterans. US Chess membership required.

Registration: Please register on-line by Oct 8th so we can get a better picture of our expected turnout and receive all required information. This is especially important for MVO participants so we can give your information to the gate.

On-site registration: 0800-0845.

Entry Fee: AFO Free! MVO Free! [MODIFICATION FROM TLA]

Prizes AFO: Trophies/Plaques to Top 3 overall players, Top player of each DoD service on Active Duty, Top Reservist, Top Retiree, Top three Cadets/Midshipmen/ROTC, Top two each class A-D and below, Highest Upset, and various special prizes.

Prizes MVO: Based on entries. Trophies/Plaques.

Rounds.: Sat. 0930-1500; Sun. 0900-1500; Mon. 0900.

Byes: A single half-point bye is available and must be requested 30 minutes before Round 2. Byes for rounds 3, 4 & 5 may not be changed after the start of round 2.
